About me!

Welcome to my digital portfolio page! My name is Emma Goss and I am a second year English major at the University of Georgia. This portfolio is a collection of works completed for the courses that I have taken as a literature student.

Writing is a practice of observation and empathy. In my work, I seek to understand the impact of place, tradition, and the natural world on human interconnectivity. I have found intriguing overlap between my personal literary interests and the specific courses that I have taken throughout my time at UGA, which have been the center points of my writing.

Outside of university life, I enjoy all things outdoors, painting, and traveling. A fun fact about me: I am a certified ropes course instructor and teach people how to rock climb!
